Tarja Ritari Design Shop is an idyllic attic shop specialising in home decor and gifts in Naantali old town.
Tarja Ritari-Andersson designs and creates unique linen interior textiles. The decor shop also offers a wide range of throw pillows, towels, table runners, serviettes, chopping boards and trays from Tarja’s own range. Tarja makes most of her products using beautiful linens, recycled cotton and organic sheepskin. Some of the hand printed throw pillows and kitchen towels also have a Naantali-themed print. All products can be ordered with specific measurements.
The shop entrance is located on the enclosed veranda in the inner yard of the listed Tuulensuoja building (built in 1879 as a common school), where you can admire the old diamond-patterned windows. When you reach the attic shop, you can marvel the timber support structures left visible after renovation and the traditional diamond-shaped windows under the eaves. The window in Tarja’s workspace offers an idyllic view to Naantali Old Town and the shore. This enchanting scenery often inspires the design of new collections. You can also take a peek into Tarja’s bright and inspiring studio directly from the shop.
