Café Naantalin Aurinkoinen has offered bakery products since 1989. The delicious taste of our products, hand-baked daily, comes from high-quality ingredients, craftsmanship and freshness. Everything is topped off by the sunny and professional service.
Nuhjalantie café in Naantali is aptly located along Aurinkotie road. It was Naantalin Aurinkoinen’s first café, where we started operations after the construction of our facilities, in 1989. Some of our regular customers have had their morning coffee here for decades.
Next to the café, there’s a confectionery and a pastry bakery.
For this reason, we offer perhaps the most versatile selection of cakes and buns as well as an authentic atmosphere among majestic pines. Warm lunch is available on weekdays, Monday through Friday. The lunch buffet always includes the soup of the day and other warm dishes, a selection of salads, and various desserts. Nuhjalantie café is also open on Sundays.

Tullikatu café is located right in the heart of the town, next to the town hall, in the Naantali marketplace. Thus, it offers a special stopping place for visitors to Naantali’s old abbey church, beach, Old Town or, for example, Moominworld. The library is right next to the café.
The café’s warm soup lunch including salad and bread is served Monday through Friday. Coffee and delicious buns are available for dessert. In addition to our lunch selection, we have all the other popular Aurinkoinen treats, such as shrimp toasts, salads, pastries and confectionery products. Naantali’s sun rises early in the morning, together with the bread dough baked using our own sourdough culture. The bread is baked in a stone oven in Raisio, and the cakes and pastries are crafted by skilful bakers and confectioners in the Naantali confectionery. Every day, we also offer hearty home-cooked meals and crispy salads to our lunchtime visitors.
Our café has a step at the main entrance, but a ramp can be placed there as well. Our staff is happy to help you when necessary.
We have excellent access for an electric wheelchair or other aids. You can use the ramp at the door of the Naantali main library next door and continue straight into the café. Our staff is happy to help you when necessary.

Our coffee is produced sustainably. Our coffee roastery Johan & Nyström buys their raw coffee directly from the producer without intermediaries – this ensures that the money reaches the farmer.
Farmers are paid clearly above the Fairtrade and market price, also ensuring a better level of pay for the workers on the farm. Cultivation on the farms is sustainable and planned long-term. Each coffee bean is collected by hand on carefully selected coffee farms committed to ecological and sustainable coffee cultivation.
