Home Visit to Lintikka
Welcome to visit our home! Lintikka is a small cape in the Luonnonmaa-island, opposite to the old city and the church of Naantali. People have lived there for hundreds of years, and nowadays we live in the main house, which was built over a hundred years ago. In the garden you can feel the atmosphere of old countryside, with little houses and apple trees. Behind the yellow main house, there opens up an awesome panorama-view to Naantali over the sea.
You can come and enjoy the lovely landscape and listen to stories of the houses’ history. You are able to bake a local style berry or apple pie with the hostess and enjoy it with a cup of coffee, tea or juice. You can try your fisherman´s luck with a fishing rod or play Finnish garden games, for example ”Mölkky”. You can also make your own homecoming gift or even weave an anadem from nature’s flowers from the garden. On a rainy day it could be exciting to climb to the attic with a flashlight, and examine all the old things in there! Let’s see what is the nicest way to spend time here, I can plan it just for you!
You are welcome to visit our home and enjoy the Finnish lifestyle together!
Our wonderful visitors from Greenland said that when they were here, they saw the whole of Finland at the same time!
