This tour takes you through stunning route by the Archipelago and its cultural atmosphere. You will experience the local food in many different locations and forms. Archipelago nature provides beautiful setting for all these experiences. Local people are excited to tell you about the specialities they have had since hundreds of years. Along the route you will find old wooden towns with beautiful houses that provide grounds for restaurants and cafés nowadays. This route takes you through the oldest towns in Finland starting from the old capital of Finland, Turku.

When arriving at Turku you will get a food lover’s card - The Turku Food Walk card - which will lead you straight to the heart of the city’s restaurant culture. The route along the beautiful banks of the River Aura takes you to authenti¬cally local restaurants. The card is valid during your whole stay in Turku.
Pop into the Market Hall full of atmosphere and find souvenirs and tasty local products. After strolling along the lively city have a glass of sparkling wine at one of the river boat restaurants known as landmarks of Turku.

Accommodation is Solo Sokos Hotel Turun Seurahuone, a newly renovated boutique hotel in the center of Turku. A classic full of surprises, brought from the 1920s to the modern age. The best breakfast in Turku with its delicious artisan products waits for you in the morning.

After breakfast you head towards Pargas and the Archipelago. On the way you can visit Sattmark Café for lunch or coffee, they also have an idyllic boutique. There is one ferry from Pargas to Nagu, going every 15min. You drive through Nagu village centre. It is worth it to have a stop there: sense the archipelagian atmosphere, have a lunch at one of the beach boulevard’s many restaurant terraces or buy local food to go. After wander¬ing around you can continue towards Korpo, there is a ferry going between Nagu and Korpo every 15min. In Korpo island you just drive around 2km and you will be at Hotel Nestor. You can take it easy before having 3 course dinner or 5 course tasting dinner.

After breakfast you start going towards Nauvo and Östern ferry. Earliest ferry goes 08.40am from Nauvo to Hanka (Naantali). From Hanka it’s about 30km way to Naantali old town. After parking your car you are warmly welcome to Visit Naantali office and pick up your Cafe Tour ticket, and useful infor¬mation for your visit. Wandering at Naantali old town narrow streets and small boutiques. In Café Tour there are three cafés included so you will have lot to taste today. For the evening time you will have a table at one of the finest restaurants in old town.

Over 400-year-old Uusikaupunki is an idyllic small town, situated on the coast of Bothnian Sea, just an hour's drive from Turku. Town is famous for its well-preserved wooden houses. Town Bay reaches right to the center of the town and the long coastline offers a lot of room for recreation as well as for housing. The idyllic restaurants with local delicacies and wide range of attractions offer to the tourists a lot to see, hear, taste and enjoy. Uusikaupunki is certainly worth a visit.

The seaside town is filled with idyllic and peculiar wooden houses and other interesting attractions. Places are located close to each other, within walking distance, but if you need a car, parking is free everywhere. Uusikaupunki offers also excellent opportunities for shopping, especially for food lovers. You can buy local delicacies at the Pakkahuone shop and at the other local shops. These delicacies are, for example mouth-watering meringue of Uusikaupunki, donuts of Pakkahuone café, salad dressing and caramel sauce by Pooki and a wide variety of fish products. There are many opportunities for dining at the very charming places. You will have a high-quality dining experience in a beautiful setting by the golf course, only a couple of swings away from the town centre. This restaurant uses fresh ingredients of the local producers.

After breakfast you start your day by driving to Rauma. Along the way you can stop at Laitilan Virvoitusjuomatehdas at Laitila. They have guided tours in the brewery, after a tour you can visit their shop. When arriving to Rauma you will find parking place at different spots near Old Rauma. You are welcome to Visit Raumas’s office to get some more information for Foodie experiences. You can wander around the famous old town with many boutiques, cafés and museums. You will have a dinner in one of the idyllic old wooden town restaurants. After this it’s time to enjoy your hotel. Have a good night!

After breakfast in Rauma your trip will continue to Pori and Reposaari Island. Driving time about one hour. On the way to Reposaari it is worthwhile to stop at Yyteri beach, and feel the Finnish coastal nature at best. Reposaari village with old wooden houses just by the sea are an idyllic place to wander and spend a relaxing day. After an tasteful lunch or dinner the tour continues to city centre of Pori. Enjoy the Kirjurinluoto central park and at the end of the day visit the local brewery restaurant and have a self guided small beer tasting of local brewerys (10€ / person/ pay on arrival, taste of 4 local beers).
